Numa produces our reliable, high-performance down hole hammers and bits in a 60,000 sq. ft. (5,580 m²) facility in Thompson, Connecticut USA. We pride ourselves on our dedication to providing the drilling industry with the highest value in products, performance and service in the industry.

COMPANY INFORMATION

Since the purchase of Numa in 1985 by current management, Numa has dedicated itself to becoming the leading designer and manufacturer of down hole hammers and bits worldwide. In fact, over the past twelve years we have introduced over 50 new hammer models, two overburden systems and Numa Lube, an environmentally friendly alternative to rock drill oil.

Word of Numa's extremely reliable on-the-job performance has quickly spread throughout the world. Today, over 45% of our sales are overseas, with Numa hammers and bits at work on tough land and marine drilling sites in over 60 countries.

Numa has worked hard to provide innovative solutions for drillers in all types of drilling industries. We continue to be instrumental in the development of large diameter hammers, introducing models capable of drilling holes up to 43" (1092 mm). We also lead the industry in reverse circulation and horizontal application hammers and bits. Today, as we anticipate industry needs, new designs are on the way.
