Numa to Exhibit at bauma 2016, the World’s Largest Trade Fair

February 19, 2016

Numa, the world’s leading drilling technology provider, will be exhibiting at the 31st edition of the world’s largest trade fair, bauma 2016, taking place in Munich, Germany from April 11–17, 2016. Numa will be exhibiting in Hall C4.603/K of the USA Pavilion with experienced staff on hand to meet with current and prospective customers and partners.

SuperJawsDiagramofDrillingFeatured at this year’s show will be Numa’s Super Jaws® Overburden Bits that provide dependable performance and longevity for drilling through unconsolidated ground conditions of overburden, boulders or bedrock. Numa’s patented Super Jaws produces unmatched penetration rates for simultaneously drilling and casing hole sizes 5-1/2″ to 42″ (139 – 1,067 mm) in diameter. With its unique wing design, Super Jaws retracts back into the guide body for extraction of all tooling while leaving the casing in place. There is no reverse rotation required, nor any expensive rings left in the hole, saving drillers time and money in applications around the world.

Super Jaws is available in two versions. One version utilizes a drive shoe welded to the front of the casing. As the bit advances, the casing is advanced at the same rate due to the drive shoulder on the guide body contacting the drive shoe welded to the casing. The Super Jaws ND version allows the use of thick wall casing or thick wall threaded casing. The guide body has no drive shoulder and the casing is advanced via a casing hammer, duplex diverter, or dual rotary.

Numa will also have on display a full range of DTH hammers and bits for drilling holes 6 to 48 inches (89 – 1,219 mm) in diameter. Numa’s DTH products have proven to outdistance competitive hammers and bits in speed and longevity with each model specifically designed for certain types of applications giving drillers the ultimate flexibility in product offering. A cutaway of a down hole hammer will also be exhibited in the Numa booth so attendees can get a first-hand look at its internal components and how it operates down the hole.
