Its unique design has wings that extend out beyond casing to drill a full diameter hole. Upon completion, the wings retract and all tooling returns to the surface while leaving the casing in place. No expensive tools are left down the hole and no starter casing teeth are required, saving time and money.
Our Casing Ring Bit System is a complementary product to our Super Jaws® Overburden Bits and Impact Ring Bit Systems®. It consists of a pilot bit, casing shoe, and heavy-duty ring bit and is available for both drill through and non-drill through applications.
