General Laborer – Part Time

Part-time position for general laborer in manufacturing plant to maintain our facilities. Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, the role involves cleaning, minor repairs, groundskeeping, and supporting our team with manual labor tasks to ensure our building runs efficiently and safely. Estimated 15-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to,:

• Groundskeeping: Maintain outdoor areas by mowing, trimming, sweeping, and clearing debris.
• Cleaning & Janitorial: Manage trash disposal and maintain facilities and machines.
• Manual Labor: Arrange products, parts, and supplies. Perform minor, routine maintenance on facilities, including painting, lubricating, and repairs.
• Assist in various labor tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in general maintenance like mowing grass, painting, and cleaning.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (often 50+ lbs.), climb ladders, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to operate fork truck.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (lawn mower, drills, saws, wrenches).
• Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must understand and follow all safety regulations and operating procedures.
• Must be able to successfully complete all pre-employment criteria.

Compensation & Benefits:

Work may require bending, stooping, kneeling, ladder climbing, and working in small cramped areas. Personal protective equipment is required and provided.

Work Environment:

The work environment is normally industrial manufacturing space. Work could be greasy, slippery, wet, and dusty. Sharp loud noises are possible. Able to drive a forklift. Potential physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts
