Numa, the world’s leading drilling technology provider, will be exhibiting in booth N – 423 at The Utility Expo taking place September 26 – 28, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky at the Kentucky Exposition Center. The Utility Expo is billed as the utility industry’s largest trade show, covering 1.4 million square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits and bringing together more than 19,000 utility professionals.

Our long history of innovation and expertise provides drillers with over 110 DTH and HDD products for drilling 3½ to 50½ inch (89 – 1283 mm) diameter holes in hard rock, overburden, or loose strata formations.
On display in Numa’s booth will be their HDD Drilling Systems. The systems consist of a variety of HDD components including hammers, bits, side load sonde housings, bent subs, and adaptors which are capable of drilling holes 3⅞″ to 10″ (98 – 254 mm) in diameter. Some of the many benefits Numa touts for the HDD hammer line include: improved steerability, fast penetration rate, simplified field maintenance, reduced air requirements, and lower overall cost per foot.
Other utility products on display will include their Super Jaws Overburden Bits used for simultaneously drilling and casing 5½” to 42” (139 – 1,067 mm) holes and Utility Pole Drills. Numa’s Utility Pole Rock Drills consist of a variety of components including hammers, bits, swivels, shock subs, adaptors, and shrouds capable of drilling holes 11⅞” to 48” (302 – 1219 mm) in diameter. Built for dependable rock drilling and fast penetration rates, Numa’s pole drilling products allow utility contractors to complete utility poles more quickly than traditional auger drilling or blasting methods.
